David brings over 30 years of experience in the field of mental health, grounded in a deep commitment to dismantling stigma—especially within minority communities where cultural shame too often becomes a barrier to quality care. A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, David leads with authenticity, integrity, and compassion.
His work focuses particularly on the emotional and psychological well-being of men, championing open dialogue, equitable access to care, and holistic, community-centered support systems. As an ordained minister, he is the co-founder of Bunk 57 Ministries, a nonprofit organization that supports individuals transitioning from incarceration back into society with dignity and purpose.
David earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Livingston College and a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. A powerful voice for healing, transformation, and justice, David’s leadership continues to inspire systemic change and personal growth.
He and his wife of 31 years proud parents of three adult sons.
