Retired Housing and Land Use professional

Ken is a retired housing and land use professional. He holds degrees in City & Regional Planning from SUNY-Albany and Western Kentucky University. He moved to Charlotte from San Antonio in 1986 to lead the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association and the Apartment Association of North Carolina - jobs he held for 32 years. He now volunteers with Crisis Assistance Ministry and the Urban Land Institute; also does NPR interviews at WSGE. He and his wife enjoy their log mountain house outside of Hendersonville.
